10.5.20: Conferência de Russell
^our new BFF Luca decided that General Conference is actually Russell Conference. He watched all FIVE sessions. Yes, this man watched women's session and is wayyyy more dedicated than all of us ever dream of being.
Other highlights of the week were:
Zone conference- we dressed up as the cheetah girls bc that's what we wanted to be for Halloween but sister Potter will be gone.
Service!!!! We helped with something called Foodshare where we went to a neighborhood and basically passed out grocery bags full of fruits and veggies!
We also worked on a really cute farm where we cut the tops of Brussels sprout plants and then ripped vines off of a fence to clear it. It was really fun to be outside and the trees up in the mountains were SO PRETTY.
My friend William from Pawtucket got baptized!!!!! I got to watch over zoom and afterwards he texted me saying thank you for teaching him! It was so awesome.
General Conference was incredible! I loved how they focused on being prepared and basically just being a GOOD CHEERFUL MERCIFUL human being. My favorite talk was the one about seeing each other deeply. I feel like as a missionary that is something we are always working on and getting the opportunity to get to know a lot of different people helps a lot with that!
Quotes: srry there's a lot
Sis Mavromatis wrecked me at Zone Conference: "you used to be so tan when you got here...but you still look good"
