Brazil backwards starts with Liza!

We went back to Newport for pday and walked around with our new companions so they could see the pretty part of Rhode Island (: This random lady sitting on the beach was staring at us and she said in a super loud voice "what's she wearin? She's got a tahg on her shouldah!" We can't stop quoting that 1) bc it was hilarious and 2) we love trying to imitate the Boston accent. We finally got our own copy of the church key because before this we were sharing it with the other sisters. The first time we tried to use it, we could not get it to turn and eventually had to call the sisters to let us in. After they opened the door we tried to see if the key would work again and my comp went outside to try it. I was laughing bc it was not working at all and then I let her back in and she told me to try it. I told her it wouldn't be any different but I would try. I walked outside and it opened on the first try and we couldn't stop laughing at my dumb luck. It does...

^my new companion is Sister Kent. She is full of hilarious one-liners. I literally fall asleep laughing. She's from Lehi, Utah and she was also serving in Brasil in Teresina. We get along really well and still live with my old comp Sis Lawlor and her new comp, Sis Sorge. Living with 4 sisters is really fun and especially nice during quarantine. Last Tuesday both our companions got here so we got to drive to Massachusetts to pick them up. It's so pretty and green.  We had to split our area book in half so I no longer get to teach Cici, but she's in good hands. We asked her to help us make a FB video and I literally died bc she did SUCH A GOOD JOB. It's kinda low-tech but everything she said was perfect. She is so cute and she calls scriptures, prescriptions. We edited it out but she says "read the prescriptions" and I love it so much! ^we are getting two more sisters here! I am going to be companions with one and my sister Lawlor will be w/the other one!  Last p-day we got to go to Trader Joes and it made me so happy.  What didn't make me happy was that my companion saw a mouse in our apartment. );  We are still just working hard in quarantine and calling a ton of members and friends. We had the law of chastity lesson with Cici bc she just has to get married to be baptized. It was my first time ever teaching it in English and it is so much better in a different language bc you don't actually realize what you're saying. Hah, that's always a funny one.  We are teaching a member's daughter named Any and we invited the branch president's wife (kelly)  to help us with the lesson. It was a really good lesson and Any loved Irmã Kelly.  Another friend we started teaching yesterday is named Lucas! We posted in a local FB group about free bible study and he "liked it" so ...
