and this ^^ is how we felt abt it.

We had transfers but luckily we get to stay in the land of bikes, beaches, and vegan cafes so that's a score.

One of our investigators Miriam finally went to church! We were so happy and she loved Relief Society! She told us after that she had dreamed one time that she was in a place with a bunch of other ladies around her and she felt super happy and that she was pretty sure this was her dream. Now we are praying that she has a dream where she is getting baptized!

Yesterday the lady whose husband has brain cancer, who we sang for at christmas time, went to teach a lesson with us. She is so cute and she made popcorn and put it in a huge bag and we went to this lesson eating popcorn and then she talked the whole time and basically taught a way better lesson than I ever could. She is literally the best and she is always happy and positive but her life is so hard. She does the same thing everyday and is constantly making food for her husband, or giving him food or doing his physical therapy with him. Also she sells popsicles to earn extra money- the coconut one is the best if you ever happen to pass by.

Last Monday we went to a neighborhood that's like a 20-25 min bike ride to have a family night. It went super well and it was almost 9 o'clock (we have to be home between 9 and 9:30) and my comp went to get her bike and the tire was popped. Finally the lady's son who didn't even want to participate in the family night decided he would ride his bike and hold my comp's bike and she rode my bike and I sat on the back. It was so funny. So random the things that happen.

I wanted to share this scripture in Mosiah 14:4-5:
Surely he has aborne our bgriefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was awounded for our btransgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are chealed.
This talk is called "The Savior´s touch" and it talks about how the Atonement can help us accept the will of God in our lives. Some quotes that I liked:
"Sometimes—in one way or another—we too can feel broken, whether due to our own actions or those of others, due to circumstances we can or cannot control. In such moments, we can place our will in His hands."
"Because He “descended below all things,”15 He makes it possible for all things that have been broken in our lives to be mended, and thus we can be reconciled with God. Through Him, all things are reconciled, both things that are on the earth and things that are in heaven, making “peace through the blood of his cross.”"
