9.16 & 9.23.19: Paçoca On the Street
9.16.19:
This week I was walking on the street (rare occurence, but it happened), and I kicked something and I looked down and it was an unopened Paçoca, It´s basically peanut butter with lots of sugar but they don´t have peanut butter here so it's the next best thing. I definitely ate it off the ground. It was a gift from God.

Today this cute couple in our ward took us to run at the beach and it was super fun. Afterwards we did something super crazy and unique that no one will ever guess... ate açaí.
Basically nothing much has changed here.
A quick thought about a talk that Sister Nelson gave:
She talked about how we need to have zero contention in our lives because contention is the spirit of the devil. She talked about how we need to receive personal revelation but if we have any contention it will hinder our progress. It was super awesome.

Another week later...
Açai moment of the week!!! went to a member's house and their neighbor was there and it just so happens that he is an açai vendor at the beach and he had all of his toppings and stuff with him. He offered us açai and I said yes and then I realized that he might make us pay, but he made these huge bowls of açai for us and it was free so that was basically the score of the week.
My companion and I got hit by a car the other day which was insane. It was raining and we both had umbrellas and she was walking a tiny bit in front of me so i couldn't really see when it happened but somehow the car only hit both of our knees and we literally just have bruises on our knees and nothing else. It was definitely a miracle because the car was going pretty fast!
This week another miracle was that 9 investigators went to church. I sat by this awesome old couple and their granddaughter who is 10. The sacrament came by and the grandpa was on the end and the granddaughter said "take one Grandpa, they´re all the same!" hahaha, i was dying. Then all three of them were just sitting there holding the bread in their hands looking at me super confused and I just ate it and gave them a thumbs up bc I didn´t really know what to say to them. It was super funny.
tchau tchau,
